The two Hawkeyes tweeted out that they would be auctioning off their Alternate Black uniforms in their entirety (everything but the pants) to benefit the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital. This afternoon Miles Taylor tweeted out the following message ending the auction:
Due to the lack of bids this past hour, the auction for the Alternate Black Jerseys, Helmets, and Cleats has come to an end! The winner would like to remain anonymous with a final bid of $13,000! Thank you everyone for wanting to make a difference for the kids! God Bless&Go Hawks

$13,000 raised in 24 hours for the children’s hospital! It’s so awesome to see Hawkeyes doing great things off of the field when they’re not on the field. Well done gentlemen, well done.
