Altoona, IA – It’s not often you see college athletes making a large cash donation. Iowa Football players, Miles Taylor and Josh Jackson were able to do just that.
A few months back, both Taylor and Jackson took to Twitter and had an online auction for their alternate Blackout uniforms that were worn against the beat down of all mighty Ohio State. The auction was a hit and raised $12,000 for the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital.
Auctioning off my Alternate Black Iowa Jersey, Helmet, and Cleats worn in the win of Ohio State to raise money for the UI Children’s Hospital! All of the money is going to go the hospital.. Its the least we can do. Starts now! Me and @Miles_Taylor19

On Friday, the two of them showed up to the hospital with a $12,000 check. Just another reason to love our Hawkeye football team.
The deal has been done! Thanks for the support! All for the kids! Go Hawks! #Blessed pic.twitter.com/Wb2h…
