Iowa City, Iowa – An hour ago Eastern Michigan University announced that Iowa backup quarterback Tyler Wiegers will join the Eagles football program. Wiegers will be a graduate transfer and will be eligible to play immediately. The Eastern Michigan Eagles finished the 2017 campaign 5-7.
