Interview with Henry Geil – Hawkeye Heaven Podcast #15

Story by Derek Pech

Des Moines, Iowa – The 15th episode of the Hawkeye Heaven podcast has arrived. Incoming RB recruit Henry Geil joins us for this one folks.

Trent and I start out by discussing the all-important addition to the water tower near Kinnick Stadium – the Hawkeye logo! It has finally arrived! We have a brief discussion on that, and we chat a little bit about the Hawkeye baseball players who were recently picked up in the MLB draft.

Then Trent and I welcome in Henry Geil for an interview. Geil is a RB recruit from Green Bay, Wisconsin. He’s a part of the 2018 class and will be officially joining up with his Hawkeye teammates next week. Hawkeye fans – I promise you’re going to love this young man. He’s a high character kid who has the exact mentality that you want to see in a young player. He’s poised and ready to do whatever it takes in order to make an impact on the field, and I think he has the tools necessary to do so. You’ll love what he has to say in our interview!

Finally, we end the podcast by discussing our the new shirts that we will be releasing any time now! We take a second to reflect on the courage and bravery displayed by the men and women of our Armed Forces. As always, thank you to all who have served and are currently serving today!

Enjoy episode #15 Hawk fans! Don’t forget to spread the word and subscribe to our podcast on iTunes, Stitcher, or whatever app you use to listen!

We’d like to end with a huge thank you to Henry Geil for joining us on this episode! Best of luck to him as he begins his collegiate career! Don’t forget to check out his high school highlights right here:
