It is the beginning of Cy-Hawk week, and make no mistake we plan on diving head first into the rivalry. However, some things are more important than rivalries and football games.
As most know by now, the Iowa Hawkeyes started a new tradition on Saturday at Kinnick Stadium by having the entire crowd of 72,000 people turn and wave at kids battling illness in the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital that sits nextdoor. This new tradition has been unanimously adored nationwide.
On Sunday evening one of ESPN’s biggest personalities, Scott Van Pelt, did a feature on the Hawkeyes new tradition and I promise you it is worth the watch. Great stuff Hawk fans!
