Iowa City, Iowa – In perhaps the least surprising post-season award of all-time, the University of Iowa announced yesterday that PG Jordan Bohannon is this years’ recipient of The Christ Street Award.

The Chris Street Award couldn’t have possibly been given to a more deserving player. Bohannon, of course, intentionally missed a free throw in order to allow Street’s name to remain atop the Iowa record books for consecutive free throws made. Bohannon has since become close with Chris Street’s parents, and the young man exemplifies everything that the award represents.
Congratulations to Bohannon for winning such an awesome award! Chris, we know your smiling down on us all knowing that your legacy lives on.
